Ask questions. Get answers you can trust.
Ask a clinical question in your own words and get an answer based on the PathologiQ library, with references you can explore whenever you need them.
On Pro and Max, more complex questions go to multiple AI models that work together to compare answers and help you get a clearer, more reliable response.
Ask Patho answers only from PathologiQ's own topic library, not from the open internet. If a topic doesn't cover your question, it tells you so instead of guessing. Every answer lists the references it used, and flashcards are checked against their source before you see them.
- Know where the answer comes from. Every answer includes references you can open in one tap.
- More than one perspective. On Pro and Max, multiple AI models compare their answers to help catch mistakes and improve reliability.
- Keep learning as you go. Your chats sync to your account, and you can turn any answer into flashcards with one tap.
AI-generated. For education only. Always verify before making clinical decisions.

Hey, what will you review today?
Make 5, 10 or 20 cards from any condition or drug, in basic or cloze format. Every generated card is checked against the topic it came from before you see it, and you can save the set to a deck named after that topic. Topics also come with ready-made decks, or you can write your own deck card by card.
- Spaced repetition: grade each card Again, Hard, Good or Easy and it comes back right before you'd forget it.
- Bring your Anki decks: import .apkg files and export any time.
- A daily streak with streak freezes for the days life gets in the way, and reminders that fit when you usually study.
- Study with friends: keep a shared streak with study buddies, and join weekly leaderboards for your school or specialty if you choose to.

Beyond medicine, together.
Connect with colleagues, meet healthcare professionals around the world, share ideas, and build meaningful connections that grow with you throughout your career.
- Stay connected. Keep in touch with classmates, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Meet people beyond your circle. Connect with medical students, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals around the world.
- Share what you know. Ask questions, discuss clinical topics, exchange perspectives, and learn from one another.
- Grow together. Discover new ideas, share your experiences, and build a professional network that grows with you.
- Know who you're learning from. Verified clinicians carry a blue seal, profiles show your school and the Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok you link in one tap, and photos you send in messages stay private to that conversation.

Questions, answered.
What is PathologiQ?
A medical reference and study app for clinicians and students. It brings cited conditions and drugs, Ask Patho answers, ready-made flashcards, bedside tools, smart notes, a clinical-reasoning trainer and a case-based community into one fast app.
Is it free?
Yes. Reference content stays free for everyone, and the free plan includes a daily allowance of Ask Patho questions. Pro and Max add more and longer Ask Patho answers, with multiple AI models checking harder questions, and are billed through the App Store.
Where does the content come from?
Each entry is written in our own words, cited to primary guidelines and public references, and is going through clinician review before launch. Every citation is one tap away so you can check it yourself.
How does PathologiQ use AI?
AI writes Ask Patho answers and flashcards, using only PathologiQ's own cited topic library rather than the open internet. Every answer shows the references it used, and if the library doesn't cover a question, Ask Patho says so instead of guessing.
Can the AI make mistakes?
Yes. AI can misread or oversimplify, which is why every answer shows its sources and flashcards are checked against the topic they came from. PathologiQ is a study and reference tool, not a substitute for clinical judgment, so verify anything that affects patient care.
What happens to my questions?
Your questions and answers are saved to your account so you can come back to them. To write an answer, your question and the related PathologiQ content are sent to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy. Never enter information that could identify a patient.
How do you keep flashcards accurate?
Cards are written only from the topic's own cited content. Before you see them, each card is checked against that source, including every number and dose, and any card that doesn't match is dropped. If the check can't run, no cards are made rather than unchecked ones.
